What is Bluetooth AVRCP

For the Bluetooth Audio Product, we will use the profile AVRCP. What is Bluetooth AVRCP?

AVRCP (Audio / Video Remote Control Profile) – is used for sending commands (e.g. Skip Forward, Pause, Play) from a controller (e.g. Bluetooth headset) to a target device (e.g. PC with Media Player) or sending lyrics, album information, and pictures, etc. from a target device to a controller.

In the Bluetooth audio module of FSC-BT806, It currently supports some AVRCP features by the buttons:

Play/Pause Power ON/OFF: long press for 2 seconds for the power on/off, short press to Pause.
VOL+/NEXT: Short press to Increase volume, long press to switch to the next song
VOL-/BACK: Short press to decrease volume, long press to switch to the last song

What’s more, customization options are also available, other AVRCP features could be customized according to the customer’s requirements.
