CarPlay is based on the requirements of the iOS system, which is provided to car manufacturers or after-market car-machine manufacturers, allowing users to access the iPhone’s phone, instant messaging, navigation, music, podcasts, and audiobook apps, through the car’s touch screen or buttons (including steering wheel buttons, center console buttons/knobs).
Before CarPlay, many cars supported to use USB or Bluetooth connecting with mobile phones and playing audio content, but the car-machine interface was made by the car manufacturers themselves, and most of them were old fashioned and the level of interaction design was not high. In addition, the traditional USB and Bluetooth connections usually only have sound and playback controls, and there is no way to project the mobile phone interface onto the car screen.
Feasycom has implemented navigation, media playback, phone calls, SMS and instant messaging, notifications, knob control and other applications on wireless Carplay. The FSC-BW101 and FSC-BW104 are highly recommended for the Carplay application.
